Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS): Conference – „The ECB and Its Watchers“

As in previous years, „The ECB and Its Watchers“ will bring together academics, market participants, policymakers and journalists for an open debate with ECB officials.
This year’s conference will focus on the following three topics:
* Next Steps in Policy Normalization
* International Spillovers of Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Concerns
* Challenges to Central Bank Independence

The President of the ECB, Mario Draghi, has been invited to open the conference. Other sessions include Luis de Guindos, Vice-President of the ECB, Peter Praet and Yves Mersch, Members of the Executive Board of the ECB, Ricardo Reis (London School of Economics), Charles I. Plosser (Hoover Institution, Stanford University), Laurence Boone (OECD), Jacob A. Frenkel (JPMorgan Chase International), Paul Tucker (Harvard University), and John H. Cochrane (Hoover Institution, Stanford University).

There is a fee of 80 € which will be charged during the online registration process. Invited participants from academia, non-profit organizations and the press are exempted.
